Transfer prints are applied using heat and pressure—essentially, they are fused onto the fabric rather than dyed into it. This method works beautifully on ribbed knits like ours, especially with natural fibres like organic cotton. However, over time, exposure to excessive heat—such as from hot wash cycles or direct high-heat ironing—can cause the print to peel, fade, or crack. This is not a fault, but a natural characteristic of heat-applied prints on stretch-based, natural fabrics.
